I have placed my self on many different lists so that I can learn how other people are working their business and to maybe implement some of their strategies into my marketing. There a lot of people claiming to be experts and wanting to give you help.
This is what I have discovered: Not everyone will answer your emial. Several times I have sent someone a question and the question was never answered. Guess what, I removed myself from their list. When you are putting your business on the internet and asking people to join your list, make sure you have an email address available for these people to contact you. One of the most important strategies in your online efforts is to build relationships.
When people pick you to maybe to be their mentor then you must mentor them. A e-course and newsletter is not enough. Yes, you can market your products to them once they are on your list but if they ask a question, then by golly answer it.
The only stupid question is the question that is not asked. Never be afraid to email someone that has you on their list. That is one great way to know if they are just wanting to sale you their products or if they are really intrested in helping you.
I have found some that will answer my questions, and I have remained on their list. Other’s have lost me as a customer.
My internet marketing tip today is: If you have a question about a product/service then email the person you purchased from and see if you get an answer. If you don’t then maybe consider removing yourself from their list.
I’m not impressed with people that claim they make all kinds of money. I am impressed with the people that take the time to answer my questions, no matter how big or small. Growing on the internet is a long term process and along the way you need to make contacts. You must have someone you can learn from and you will see your results of your business grow.
